To address the ongoing famine situation in the region, GLPF is working with stakeholders to promote agriculture advancements. We provide technical guidance and training opportunities to create a value chain that boosts yields and decrease food scarcity in the region.

 

GLPF and USANA supports farmers and in the Great Lakes region that are seeking a sustainable, inclusive agricultural transformation — one that creates economic opportunity, respects limits on natural resources, and gives everyone equal access to affordable, nutritious food.

 

Our investments in agriculture play an important role in the foundation’s broader effort to empower women and girls with economic opportunities and helps conflicting tribes unite by endorsing reconciliation via forgiveness.
